Maybe this is just funny to me

I was just talking to someone over IM about some meat in the fridge (long story) that had yet to be claimed and declared:

"if no one's takin' the sirloin I might purloin it (HA, love it...rhyme scheme...)"

It's funnier if you imagine the parenthetical being said in the voice of Sebben from "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law" like I did as I was typing it.
