What would you call this emotion

I am both intrigued and immensely horrified that there will be a movie version of "Tristan and Isolde" (or Tristran and Yseut or Tristram and Iseuld...whatever).

A little after the fact

Here's a Merry Christmas drawing for all of you out in Internet-land. I kind of got started on this sketch before Christmas but never got around to really finishing it. As luck would have it, I needed to keep my hands and mind busy this evening so I ended up finishing it. Well, to a certain degree it's finished; I still don't have the proper photo-editing tools after fixing my computer.

*Warning* Involves skimpy bikini top...if you're worried about that sort of thing.

Happy Holidays Everyone

Sadly I'm spending my first Christmas on my own all by my lonesome. Actually, it's not really that sad, but enough people give you that "aww..." look when you say you don't really have plans for the holiday and you start thinking maybe it *is* something sad.

I made some mandu (just think gyoza or pot stickers) to celebrate the holidays. They're probably my all time favoritest food ever. Of course it did mean that I spent a flour-and-egg covered hour folding the dumplings, but they tasted like success this morning.

Anyhow, I try to remind people of this whenever I can, but once again it's that time of the year. For those of you who are geographically located such that attending this event is possible, PlayTag 2006 is here.

This is the third annual one, and I certainly wish one day I can go back to Korea in the winter to participate. That doesn't mean I don't try to pressure friends into playing...then taking pictures of it. Previously it was held at Daehakro, then it was at Hangag Park in Yoido. This year it's going to be at Boramae Park. It looks like they're sticking with the "Dahbangu" version of tag, but the rules look a little different from last year and it looks like they're also adding a second round of a different tag and even football, so be sure to check out the poster for more info. Even if you don't plan on participating, it's always fun to see the different posters from the different years to catch the references. This year I see they went for Metal Gear Solid. Here's a link to last year's poster.

Computer problems and transit strikes

Well, there's been a lot happening and that might be a true understatement. Here's a brand new drawing to say horray to having my computer working (so let's knock on wood). And here's a new drawing to go with it. It's Morrigan from Darkstalkers, I was trying to get it done for a weekly artist jam that I have an extremely hard time keeping up with(I have a barely started Lois Lane sadly languishing somewhere that I will have to finish). Anyhow, Morrigan's always been a good cheesecake character so here ya go.

Actually, I'm not super happy with how it turned out because it's a bit of a rush job, but really have been too lax with my goal to try and draw something new each week to week and a half.

More drawings

My computer's holding up though I've been doing some last minute troubleshooting and making sure I have things all backed up and whatnot before I take this in to get a second opinion (because I don't think it's my harddrive, but eh). I feel bad about holding up updating with newer drawings because of this, so here's a little something I can squeeze in while my computer's working.

It's an accompanying drawing to the one I did for a class project. Yes I can draw feet (kind of), but I just cropped it because it kind of peters out toward the bottom.

We are experiencing some technical difficulties

My hard drive is dying. I managed to catch it in one of its few lucid moments to post this before I take it to the doctor tomorrow. I've been trying to get it fixed for almost 2 weeks now with some difficulty because of my schedule, but I hope to have the problem solved soon.
